Head of CD Projekt RED Adam Kiczynski talked about new games of the studio in an interview with the Polish edition Parkiet. The material is available on the media website.
In the conversation Kiczynski confirmed that he will leave the post of the head of the company on 1 January 2024. Until 2025, the specialist will become director of strategy. In the interview Adam Kiczynski talked about the future games of the studio, in particular noting that in 2014 CD Projekt RED will not announce new titles.
According to Kiczynski, such a conservative approach is caused by the failure of Cyberpunk 2077, when the studio released a virtually “raw” game. The top manager said that the company has learnt a lesson and will not name the exact dates of the release of titles ahead of time. However, he noted that work on the creation of a sequel to The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is underway.
