The managers of Steam platform welcomed the appearance of games created partially or fully with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). This is reported in the blog of the gaming platform.
The company Valve, which supports the game service, said that it took them time to analyse the AI games appearing on the market. Specialists described a list of rules that must comply with a title created with the use of artificial intelligence.
First of all, before publishing his product in the Steam library, the developer will have to tell in detail how he used AI. Games will be divided into two categories – the first will include those in which some content was pre-generated. Such media files must not violate copyright and contain illegal information.
